July 16 Release of Half Blood Prince


Dad and I decided to head to Chapters for the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
		There were plenty of goings on for all of the Harry Potters and all of us Hogwarts wannabees.


	The store staff were all set and were great professors and hosts for the evening activities.
	Check out the "special" creatures who were at the festivites This is a giant African millepied. Pretty neat
	Can you tell Grandpa from Dumbledore		There were plenty of Harry's there
		I tried to count toes ot see if this was really Scabbers but he wiggled too much. A pretty neat hairless rat though.
We even had some Transfiguration
	Not quite a dragon but certainly a pretty good lizard. It was fun to hold all of the special creatures of the night

My favorite creature of the evening was the most beautiful python We all got to hold her for a few minutes and she was not only fabulous looking, she was as soft as silk I may not like Slytherin so much but this snake was a big hit

	Getting ready for midnight and the line-ups for book collecting Now for the READING!
	Thanks to all of the people there who were so happy to discuss all things "Potter". Special thanks to Andrew and Dad Robert. Waiting in line was so much nicer to have met such nice people.
